Working Pattern: Rotating Weekly Shifts (Week 1: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Week 2: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

About the Role
We are looking for an organised, hands-on Shift Lead to supervise our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth running of daily fulfilment activities. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives, oversee the picking, packing and dispatch process, and ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Working closely with management, you will help coordinate workflow, resolve operational issues, and provide effective shift handovers. This role operates on a rotating weekly shift pattern, alternating between early (6:00am–2:00pm) and late (2:00pm–10:00pm) shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, support, and motivate warehouse operatives throughout the shift to achieve daily productivity and quality targets.
- Operational Oversight: Coordinate daily warehouse activities including picking, packing, replenishment, and dispatch to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Inventory & Order Control: Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and work with the wider team to resolve inventory and order issues efficiently.
- Reporting & Administration: Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to record shift performance, monitor KPIs, update stock information, and complete detailed shift handovers.
- Quality & Process Improvement: Maintain high standards of accuracy, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and ensure operational procedures are followed.
- Health & Safety: Promote a safe, clean, and organised working environment, ensuring compliance with all warehouse health and safety policies.
Key Requirements
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse, fulfilment, or logistics environment.
- Supervisory Experience: Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse team is preferred.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data entry, spreadsheets, and reporting) and Outlook.
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to motivate a team, solve problems, and manage priorities during busy shifts.
- Shift Flexibility: Available to work the required rotating weekly shift pattern (6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm).
- Attention to Detail: Committed to maintaining accuracy in order processing, stock control, and reporting.
